Chase Your Dreams

We are delighted to share the summary of the event Chase Your Dreams organized by the Stella Joyce Memorial Trust. This event served as a platform to connect 10th and 12th students with other schools’ students from OFT High School, OFT Higher Secondary School, HEPF Paramahamsa Matriculation School, and Kendriya Vidyalaya 2 Trichy. The motivational program started with Tamil Thai Vazthu. Our honorable Executive Director of Ordnance Factory Shri. Shrish Kumar graced his presence as chief guest. The motivational speech occurred in two sessions handled by Mr. Samuel Johnson, Founder of Stella Joyce Memorial Trust, and Prof.Vinothini, Founder of Agazh Trust.

The welcome address and chief guest introduction by Mr. Ravinath ignited the program. The Chief Guest Shri. Shirish’s motivational speech insisted on how the students must prepare themselves for the exams by understanding the concepts and memorizing and practicing the subjects repeatedly. His speech set a benchmark and ignited the thoughts of readiness and confidence in the minds of the young students.

This session was followed by an interactive game conducted by Mr. Samuel Johnson. A game to make the students participate and understand their unique strengths, opened up the young minds to realize their talents. It continued with a cinematic story narrating the real incidents of how a young boy chases his dreams by learning from his failure and organizing himself with a remarkable strategy of I-C.A.N. This session enabled the students to look back and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses together with a strategy to win the upcoming exams and challenges by organizing themselves. The session concluded with students from all four schools coming forward to reflect on their winning strategy.

The keynote session was conducted by Prof.Vinothini, with a baseline topic of I am the magic. The session brought in examples for the students to be ready and disciplined. The session gave examples of what and what not to follow, and how to be ready and disciplined to realize that everyone is magic. The session was made interesting by the students’ participation. The students wrote a story about, I Am the magic and it was collated to be published as a book. This session enabled the students to understand their strengths and also be ready and disciplined to take up challenges in life.

The event venue, JSC Ordnance Factory Hall, Trichy, was made elegant with a remarkable audio and video public address system that resonated with the theme of the day. The audio systems and LED wall visual systems further enhanced the experience, captivating the audience throughout the event. The Photopark Trichy, and their talented team, led by Mr.Praveen, did a phenomenal job capturing every moment of the event through photography and videography. Their artistry immortalized the memories, allowing us to remember the event for years to come.

The organizers which included Lalgudi Iyarkai Viluthugal, together with Mr. Wilson took care of the master of the ceremony while Ulavan Trust together with M.A.M Polytechnic, students rendered their volunteering service throughout the event. The delicious food was sponsored by our beloved trust members. The arrangements to bring the food on time to all the students were solely organized by Mr. Jeyabalan and the team. Special mention to Mr.Balu Subramanian, Mr.John Alister, Mrs.Divya, Mr. and Mrs. Sujatha Jeyakumar, Mrs.Julian, and Mr.Stephen for financially sponsoring the event. It was a honor to have our advisor and mentor Mrs. and Mr. Paulraj to grace the occasion. 

The event concluded with a National Anthem and culminated with a delicious lunch, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration of the invaluable lessons learned throughout the day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, speakers, supporters, sponsors and volunteers who made "Chase Your Dreams" a tremendous success. Together, we strive to create a disciplined and knowledgeable student community who are our leaders of tomorrow.
